FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I submit information on my product, design goods, or art to either the
WE ARE 1976 retail shop or gallery?

We are always interested in new artists and crafters at WE ARE 1976. If you are a maker of jewelry, artists’ books, hand-printed items, and other high-quality handmade products and the like, please feel free to email us and submit your
work to info[at]weare1976.com
.

Please include your name in the subject line, your contact information, one file
with up to 10 images in jpeg format under 2mb, and/or a link to your website.
We appreciate and welcome new product ideas and love featuring new designers and artists in our gallery, and we will respond to each submission as soon as
we can. 

Please note, we will not be able to review work during regular business hours. We are so flattered that you would consider sharing your work and products with us. However, it is very important that we receive the information in a  manner that allows us to review it in the  most practical and efficient way for our shop. Also, due to the high volume of submissions, we are unable to accept any unscheduled and unconfirmed product/art goods. THANK YOU.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

What is your return policy?

Except where indicated, merchandise purchased from WE ARE 1976 may be returned for WE ARE 1976 in-store credit only within 30 days of purchase and only if accompanied by original receipt and in original condition and in original packaging. Refunds are not issued, except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace. Returns must be authorized by a store associate. WE ARE 1976 credit is valid for one year from date of issue. Thereafter, unused credit is forfeited.

How do I redeem my WE ARE 1976 credit?

In addition to issuing a WE ARE 1976 credit receipt with your refund information, we will also have your WE ARE 1976 credit information stored in our computer system.

What if the item I want is no longer in stock?

Many of the items in our shop our special order because they are either limited edition, handmade or imported from outside of the Unites States. We will do our
very best to fulfill your request and will keep you notified of the status.

Can I purchase a gift certificate?

Yes. We offer gift certificates in a variety of denominations ($5, $10, $25, $50, $100, and $250). They can be purchased in the same way as any other item in the shop or over the phone. Also, the gift certificate can be sent by email to the recipient, accompanied by a gift message.
