Genius

(via ExperimentalJetset)

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS PERFECTION. From can-I-please-work-for-you?-uber-
cool-do-everything- awesome-Dutch-design-collaborative Experimental Jetset, this poster
Mobile ISO 216 for their show at the Triennale Design Museum screams seriously thought
out design. Not only are the posters' design and typography gorgeous, but so is the way it
is exhibited. The concept is genius - the mobile is based on the ISO (international standard
paper sizes) and is constructed and suspended through simple math measurements of the
A0 to A4 paper sizes (of each size being 1/2 the ratio of the preceeding size).  Mega eye
and brain candy for us Asian nerds.

This would solve so many problems!

We would definitely need to add some color, but this style of  shelving units from Albed
would make our lives so much easier. Such a cool storage and room dividing solution.

Hide The Good Scissors

The most graphic designy take on handmade and cross stitch that we've seen. From Etsy
maker Hide The Good Scissors, definitely a case of wish we thought of this...

Most interesting and AWESOME illustrations seen in a while. From Japanese graphic
designer and illustrator Kimiaki Yaegashi. A little subversive and feisty, would love to
get these in the shop.

This is the kinda exhibit that I'd be super keen to check out in person. Love the scale
and all the textures. Thoughtful and beautiful installation and book sculptures from artist
Adam Bateman at The Museum of Art at BYU on language and communication.
