The (un)official mascot of Christina Hu’s studio is the ever-cheerful Kewpie baby, which means she has a soft spot for anything featuring the chubby little mayo cherub. She also loves Japanese candy—so naturally Kewpie ends up front and center on a sheet of classic Marukawa gum boxes. Each tiny square feels like an after-school treat: orange, melon, grape… and Kewpie popping in as the sweetest flavor of all. It’s nostalgic, bright, and full of that instant joy only candy aisle memories can spark.
