A boy in a green sweater runs full tilt through tall grass, one fist raised, hair spiked against the wind. Behind him a bank of cloud rolls in low and bright, and a city rises out of it in stepped silhouettes — towers and blocks stacked against a teal sky flecked with stars. Everything sits in a narrow range of blues and greens with the grass inked black at his feet, and a soft peach border frames the whole scene. Created by Alex Hanke of Studio Zum Heimathafen in Hamburg, the image first appeared as a poster for a Tiger Lou show in Magdeburg in 2016; this art print version takes its name from one of the band's songs.
This 4-color screenprint is pulled by hand in Hanke's Hamburg studio on light grey 300gsm paper, FSC certified with a soft finish. The heavy stippled texture in the clouds and the sky gradient are built up through successive passes, and the grey sheet gives the pale inks somewhere to sit. This is the Urban Mirage edition, limited to 40 prints, signed and numbered by the artist.
