Kappa Plush | Fumofumo-san (Japan)

Kappa was found in a spider high over Japan and is thought to belong to the kappa family. He has the dish on his head, the beak and the shell, and he keeps close to water on hot, humid days. He stays active only while the dish is wet, though nobody has worked out why.

First spotted in 2002, Fumofumo-san are unidentified creatures that live among the spiders. Two decades on, they are still better known for their soft texture and calm expressions than for any solid facts about them.
