Every finished piece starts somewhere messier. Sketched Out opens the private sketchbooks and journals of artists around the world, full of half-formed ideas, quick observations, character studies and architectural doodles.
Its illustrated flexi cover feels like a well-used notebook itself. A revealing, inspiring look at how ideas really develop, for artists, students and the endlessly curious.
