A reclining cat in the style of the hand-painted souvenir pottery you find in California and Mexican roadside shops. Every inch of her is decorated: leaves and flowers along her back, a pair of cactuses, a little rabbit tucked in by her paws, and a big friendly grin. Printed in cool Wedgwood blue and black on a cream cat, framed by a blue border.
Souvenir Cat was first made for the BRIC-A-BRAC show at Gallery Nucleus Portland, and this blue edition is the current version from The Little Friends of Printmaking. A charming pick for cat lovers and folk art collectors.
