The Pilgrim Linocut Print | Jack Russell (TX)

A wide-eyed kid in a long coat holds a boombox high over his head — the most famous serenade in movie history — while a cast of strange companions, from a little monster to a watchful owl, gathers around him. Jack Russell piles up references the way a good mixtape piles up songs.

It is sweet, odd and a little haunted, which is to say very Jackdaw. For anyone who still believes in grand romantic gestures.
