This Noren is made of hand-woven hemp, which has a moderate transparency and a beautiful, refreshing crispness unique to hemp. The original raw hemp fabric is dyed in a cool indigo gray color, and a lovely crab peeks out in a subtle design detail. The colors are dyed by craftsmen in Ojiya, Niigata. Great for partitioning off rooms and entrances, it makes a big impact and creates a cute and gorgeous space.
