Vida Underground Art Print | Heidi Moreno (CA)

A cutaway of the soil reveals a whole neighborhood of root vegetables living in cozy burrows: two potatoes share a drink at a little table, an onion reads, a carrot and beet hang out in their rooms, and worms and beetles travel the tunnels between. Above, a starry night sky sits over the ground.

Heidi paints her originals by hand, mostly in gouache and watercolor, and this giclée print reproduces the piece on fine art paper so the brushwork and layered color come through.
