Originally painted during the quiet, surreal days of lockdown, The Ending World captures that strange and tender moment in time when everything paused—but creativity bloomed. This three-part composition by Dallas-based artist Brent Ozaeta was first rendered in acrylic and screen print on wood panel in 2020, forming a dreamlike landscape of fractured memories and soft melancholy. Now reimagined as a risograph print set, each piece carries the layered texture and delicate mood of the original.
Printed in rich, overlapping tones, this set of three 11" x 14" risograph prints brings Brent’s ethereal storytelling to life in a format perfect for framing together—or displaying individually.
This work is also featured in Brent’s solo exhibition Blue Spring at && Gallery in Los Angeles, a show inspired by the Japanese concept of seishun (青春)—a poetic metaphor for youth’s beauty, fragility, and fleeting magic.
